About KIMO and this survey

In the KIMO research project at TH Köln (University of Applied Sciences, Cologne, Germany), we are investigating how creative professionals can be better supported in the conceptual design of interactive and narrative applications.
We are particularly interested in how studios, agencies, developers, and designers work today: How do initial concepts emerge? Which tools are being used? Where are workflows particularly time-consuming? And at which points could a digital or AI-assisted tool be truly helpful?
It is very important to us that KIMO is not intended to replace creative work. The creative process, the design approach, and the final decisions remain with humans. The goal is to explore potential support for early conceptual phases.
The survey takes about 6 minutes and requires no preparation. We will not ask for confidential project details. We are solely interested in general experiences, assessments, and working methods from your daily practice.
The collected data will be analyzed anonymously, strictly GDPR-compliant, and used exclusively for scientific purposes within the framework of the KIMO research project. The results of the survey may be published in academic publications. Any publications will strictly be in an aggregated form. Individual persons, companies, or organizations will not be identifiable. 
Your responses will help us align KIMO more closely with real work processes and actual practical needs right from the start.
